Better hurry up now and get your ticket(s) in time for yoUDay!
Colorful, magical and unforgettable are just a bare sample of the most fitting attributes that former participants and viewers have used for describing their experience of yoUDay. This time, there will be an even larger number of spectacular stage show elements used than ever before, while both the stage setting and the seating arrangement for the audience will be completely transformed in Debrecen’s Nagyerdei Stadion [verbatim: Big Forest Stadium].
“A stage of 60 meters in width will be constructed inside and in front of Sector C of the grandstand, complete with a runway/catwalk. Thus, you can also purchase (standing) tickets to the arena floor for the first time this year, so that you can dance and enjoy the show from real close,” said the members of the organizing committee to hirek.unideb.hu.
As regards the colorful, magical and unforgettable moments and general atmosphere, these will be guaranteed by Hungarian star performers of stage and screen, including celebrities such as Ákos, Majka és Curtis, Horváth Tomi, and the bands Animal Cannibals as well as Abrakazabra. In addition to their performances, a special selection of background music will also be offered to entertain the audience in between their gigs.
“This year, it is our intention to further strengthen the feeling of togetherness, so well symbolized by the stadium show itself, by attempting to create a more unified appearance of the audience as well, both on the grand stands and on the arena floor. What we are going to ask everybody to do is to wear the colors of the university by putting on yellow or light green pieces of clothing or by puchasing a green-and-yellow UD scarf from the university gift shop or on the spot,” said Gergő Török, a member of the organizing team.
Both before and after the show, there will be a range of other activities offered for those who wish to participate in, for example, a cooking contest, a talent show, a chili burger eating competition, beerpong, and you can also practice penalty kicks with the goalies of DEAC (the university club) in front of the net. In addition, the organization of Magyar Vöröskereszt [Hungarian Red Cross] will also advertise a chance to donate blood on yoUDay.
