Bipolar prostate surgery, 3D laparoscopy, laser kidney stone surgery – some of the most modern surgical pocedures were presented on the master course that began at the Urology Clinic of the University of Debrecen last Friday. The 3D interventions offer specialists a „cinema-like” experience.

With the participation of 25 companies, on Thursday the Faculty of Engineering of the UD organised the 25th Professional Building Energetics and Building Services Days, and the international EEMC'19 Mechatronics Conference , which in turn was attended by presenters from over 10 countries.

The Faculty of Humanities of the UD and Nicolaus Copernicus University, the university of the Polish city Toruń, have signed an agreement on cooperation. The mutual cooperation agreement was signed by the respective deans of the two institutions in the Karácsony Sándor Room of UD on Thursday.

The University of Debrecen has developed a unique medical application for mobile devices. UD Mediversity, which also works offline, helps users navigate among the services of the Clinical Centre. The free application can be downloaded to mobile devices with an Android or iOS operating system.
