A delegation of more than twenty members have visited the University of Debrecen within the framework of an international program established with the aim of improving the quality of higher education in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Department of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology of the UD has received Prize for the International Development of Higher Education – Excellent Practice for its application demonstrating the practical uses of an online surface developed for upgrading the quality of anatomy instruction.

The University of Debrecen has been ranked among the best universities in two international lists recently. In the list released by Center for World University Rankings, UD has managed to retain its former position, while in the list by Quacquarelli Symonds, it continues to belong to the top 50.

The adoption of traditional Indian medicine, also called “life-knowledge”, into clinical practice was the topic of the symposium jointly organised by the University of Debrecen and the Indian government’s Ministry of AYUSH.

The study trips of the former students of the Reformed College to faraway towns of Europe were in the focus of the conference titled “Four Windows,” organised by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Debrecen.

Banishing racism from sports stadiums – this is the main objective of the international conference held at the University of Debrecen. The programme is part of the European Union’s BRISWA project.

Westsik’s crop rotation, developed at the Nyíregyháza Research Institute of the University of Debrecen in 1929, offers a solution to improve sandy soils. At a conference held to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the institute, researchers from 7 countries discussed the long-term field experiment.
